# CityWalk Plan > Free, catalog-based city-walk trip planner for 50+ cities worldwide. Builds day-by-day > walking itineraries from real, hand-curated places (verified map coordinates, not > AI-invented), grouped by neighborhood. Edit, share, or export as PDF/print, text, HTML, > GPX, or KML. Interactive maps need internet. No sign-up. CityWalk Plan helps travelers plan self-guided city walking trips. You pick a destination and number of days, choose a pace, and the planner builds a day-by-day walking route that keeps each day in one neighborhood so you spend less time in transit and more time walking. Every stop is a real, curated place with map coordinates and a short description. It is free, needs no account, and works in 9 languages. A fuller machine-readable digest — the entire city catalog, every published sample route with its real day-by-day stops, and the full FAQ — is at https://citywalkplan.com/llms-full.txt ## Key facts (citable) - Free to use; no sign-up, no account, no app required (also available as an Android app). - Every stop is a real, hand-curated place with verified map coordinates and a written description — none are invented by AI. - Covers 50+ cities worldwide; reviewed and updated as places open, close, or change. - Available in 9 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese — including localized place names. - Routes are grouped by neighborhood to minimize backtracking; 1–5 days per city, multi-city trips supported. - You can edit the route, reorder or remove stops, share a link, or export PDF/print, text, HTML, GPX, or KML. PDF and text work for offline reading; interactive HTML maps need internet. - Supported by optional affiliate booking links; the planner itself is free. ## Use CityWalk Plan from an AI assistant (MCP) CityWalk Plan is available as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so AI assistants can call the planner directly and return a real day-by-day walking itinerary: - Remote MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP, public, no auth, no API key): https://citywalkplan.com/api/mcp - Listed in the official MCP registry as `com.citywalkplan/planner`. - Step-by-step setup guide for Claude and ChatGPT: https://citywalkplan.com/mcp - Full 2026 tutorial, plan comparison, prompts, and troubleshooting: https://citywalkplan.com/blog/how-to-add-mcp-server-to-claude-chatgpt - Claude Free currently allows one custom remote MCP connector, so it provides a zero-cost end-to-end path. ChatGPT Pro can connect read-only MCPs in developer mode; full MCP is available in beta for eligible Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces. Free, Go, and Plus do not currently have a documented arbitrary-URL path. An MCP Registry listing is not automatically a ChatGPT app-directory listing. - Tools: - `list_cities` — the 50+ supported cities, grouped by region. - `plan_city_walk` — args: city, days (1–7), pace (easy/balanced/packed), must_see[]. Returns a day-by-day route of real curated places grouped by neighborhood, plus a citywalkplan.com link. - `get_place` — details for one place (type, neighborhood, suggested duration, coordinates, Wikipedia link). ## App - [CityWalk Plan — Trip Planner](https://citywalkplan.com/): The main planner.
