Summary
CityWalk Plan is a free city walking-itinerary planner, available as a website and as an Android app. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or other personal details to use it. This policy explains the limited data the service does and does not handle.
What we do not collect
We do not require registration or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise device location. We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the service is used so we can improve it. This records anonymous usage events, an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city or country level), and basic device and browser information. It is not linked to any personal identity. Google processes this data as our analytics provider.
Shared itineraries
If you choose to use the Share feature, the itinerary you created is stored on our servers so the share link works. Shared itineraries are automatically and permanently deleted after 90 days. If you never tap Share, your itinerary stays only on your own device.
Partner links
Some links — for example to flights, hotels, tours, or tickets — are affiliate links. If you tap one, the partner may set its own cookies and process your activity under its own privacy policy. These optional links support the service at no extra cost to you, and you never have to use them.
The Android app
The Android app is a thin wrapper that displays the CityWalk Plan website. It requests no special device permissions, does not access your location, contacts, camera, or files, and contains no advertising or tracking SDKs beyond the anonymous analytics described above. It needs an internet connection because the place catalog is served online.
Children
CityWalk Plan is a general-audience travel tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
Because we do not hold an account or personal profile for you, there is nothing to log in to or delete. You can block analytics with your browser or an extension at any time, and the planner will still work.
